Our Story

The foundations of Bibby Line Group date back to 1807 when John Bibby began trading as a shipowner in Liverpool.

Our 200+ year history of anticipating and meeting customer needs is both our foundation for success, and the inspiration which teaches us to always be looking and thinking ahead.

The past has shown us that strong values and a willingness to learn, innovate and adapt will always ensure our future in a rapidly changing business landscape.

Project Compass - Our Commitment to long-term sustainability

Project Compass focuses our efforts on four areas to foster the long term sustainability of the Group: Environment, Community, People and Customer.

Working across the group, we have set ourselves ambitious sustainability goals, along with 12 special focus areas to help us meet our new group vision of being “A family business known for creating a better future together”. We will periodically report our progress against each of these goals.
